Yea my ex did he recovered ok just left with slight slur in speech hes 42 but 2 years after we split up he got into drugs n heavy boozing what caused it * +

a friend had brain bleed while collapsed on the floor for 5 hours (booze and drugs).

to look at him now you wouldn't know except that his physical confidence is completely shot. he has balance issues too. * +

My dad had a stroke. He couldn't speak properly for about 6 months. He lived for another two years, but the cause of death wasn't the stoke.

I know a lady who had a small stoke and she's just the same as before. * +
