sh*t is going down in it's biggest city Almaty after a price hike doubled petrol prices. The hike has been reversed but people are still protesting as its formal authoritarian leader, Nursultan Nazarbayev, still wields much power.

16 protestors dead and 2 members of the security forces reportably beheaded.

2500 'Peacekeepers' sent in by its allies including Russia and Belarus.

muslim extreamisim dosnt last long in russia, the russian ppl wont stand for it. Was talking to a shop keeper in moscow who said everytime theres a islamic terrorist attack in russia near enough every muslim in russia gets their windows smashed in, and the authoritys close hundreds of mosques, and arrest thousands of muslims. The non extreamist muslims have soon learnt to grass on any likely future terrorists, to stave off any reprisals. * +
