to me it's not outdated at all, neither expensive.... not everyone wants marriage but some do.. I am one of them, you don't need a wedding or paper to make a commitment to another, but it's something we both wanted. nothing outdated about that. * +

Been married 9 years this year. Sometimes it's really hard, I'm complicated, he's grumpy, I'm emotional, he's privileged and can't see when he's being pig headed, I'm stubborn, he's stubborn.
But ultimately, we've chosen each other and he's my best friend. Aways the first person I want to talk to about anything. A great dad. Funny, smart, caring. We've been through a lot together.
