It's said working in a big office and going to places like the gym/spa will be ideal places to make friends. My experience is that office colleagues friendship is literally just for while you work there and lunches/dinners out with the other workers..nothing more.
Maybe some people would be open for something more deeper but they don't want to express it or don't think I'd want to express it with them etc. The usual bull of interactions is just so boring that I hardly bother. Getting something tangible is like a maze. * +
