the prosecutors agreed with the judge in that case that the judge didn't in fact have the power to unseal grand jury testimony.

it was performance theatre, the government lawyers knew they were just going to thru the motions so your crowd will think they tried when they didn't at all.

do some deep research on your own to see if judges in fact do have this power. I'd use only sources older than this set of events. * +

I think you will find that grand jury testimony can be unsealed (EG watergate) The truth is they dont want anyone seeing the raw evidence. * +

Also the Clinton grand jury testimony in 1998 during the Starr investigation was unsealed. So again mel is talking sh*te. * +
