What are the bible verses that talk about someone(don't remember who) expecting God to make His presence at sometime. he was expecting something specticular to happen as a sign that God was making his presence but God made his presence in a most humble way? At first i thought it was Moses, Exodus 33 verse 19 to 23 but it isn't. * +

1 Kings 19. From the beginning, maybe verse 8 or so. A whirlwind, an earthquake, a fire... Elijah expected God in these mighty demonstrations of power but God came in the silence, in a still small voice. * +

I love the lesson. We miss God's voice coz it comes in so simple and humble a manner we may not recognize it. We look for power, drama, frenzy. * +
