Well there is no obvious proof that life developed from single- celled organisms to macrospecies. If any, it is subtle. Why is the extant coelacanth bones remarkably similar to its fossil equivalent to this day? It should have evolved.

It is. It is about a third of the size of the fossils. But why should it have evolved? No environmental and selective pressures the random mutations die out. Sharks, c*ckroaches, Dragonflys, Crocodiles all good at what they do so they basically remain unchanged. *
