your parents genetic make up had a bit to play. The rest was just bad luck (I myself like sport my father and brother were both pretty good at cricket but I was born with no hand/eye coordination my mother on the other hand is a total clutz just like me) or you didnt train hard enough. There is no time in the 9mths that decides athletic prowess.
