The Quran mentioned the good, and encourage it. no denial...
The message of the Quran is to complete the right path shown by all prophets:
(1) The true belief (God, Angels, Messengers, Holy Books, etc..)
(2) The good morals, good practices, good life, the happy life.

Well, sincere research will guide both heart and mind to right path.
The key entrance is when we believe certainly the Almighty One God who sent Moses and Jesus as prophet is He Himself Who sent Mohammed.
We believe in all prophets, we're certain they're the most honorable among their nations, and were sent to guide people to path of right belief that leads to happiness in this world and hereafter.
When Jesus was sent, many Jews disrespect him and disobeyed his message. When Mohammed was sent, likewise, many Jews and Christians disbelieved in him, but not all.
As a muslin, believing in all prophets is a must, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, etc...
If Islam/Quran tells that all Christians and all Jews were bad, then I won't believe, simply because this is not reasonable. Islam tells us to acknowledge the good and the truth and encourage it, and to dislike the bad and be away of it. Islam is a complete code of life, not only faith and worship.
In a Word, Almighty God (Allah) knows what's best for humankind and it is He who made the perfectness of prophets' message by their last one.
