Guys i have encountered a silly problem. I have set my home screen on in my 6303c for shortcuts. Now i want to add opera 4.2 handler shortcut to it which is located in my applicationsgames folder. But as i click on home screen select shortcuts , then the phone displays an applications folder from where i can select my desired applications for shortcuts. But As i click on this application folder , after few seconds the phone gets hanged and then i have to switch off and them again start. I had up * +

I had updated my firmware few days back and i had done the same process successfully but with another application. Now it is not working. Any ideas from you people what to do. * +

Friend,this problem is natural for new nokias.my 2700c also shows this.i restore all settings and clear phone memory then i can select some apps but after some time i can't select any other apps.it hanged.but first selected apps works. * +

Goto setting create backup then restore factory setting restore all enter password and then open that app first and select shortcut * +

I hope i can help u this way. . When ur phne gets hanged. . Dnt do anything. . Just put it aside for smtym. . Say 3- 5 mins. . Though it wud nt take such tym. .after 3-5 min check ur phne it wil show u apps and wil wrk. . It normaly happens with my 6233. . At first i also used to switch of bt 1 day i just put aside cuz of sm wrk and after that i found the phne was ok back * +

Ur method not working @ amanthe. Phone gets back to standby mode without showing operator name,date,time etc and also hangs again. * +

Ya it happens with ttc also.. Just wait untill the apps comes.. Then select apps and save.. * +
