Download any apps via ucweb.then with minicommander search for the manifest file in META-INF FOLDER then edit the file.there u will find a text where the name is mentioned change it with ur desire 1.for ucweb and minicommander visit sanou2,xtgem,com. * +

Oops sorry, actually I was trying say to rename the _jar file. When u just downloaded _jar file using ucweb, u can see the rename option availabe. So before renaming it to .jar edit the name to whatever u want. It will work. * +

And after installation the app will use its original name. Editing the manifest file is the best idea..... * +

@o_n_i no it will not work.it doesn't matter whats the name of the file.i think u noticed that when u dwnld jar with uc the name is like name2473_jar.but when u change it to .jar it shows name.so to change the jar file name u will have to edit the manifest file other wise no option
