when i type in the star hash 92702689hash code in the timer comes up but the imei is shown as a row of oooo and the date when the handset was made is blank, anyone know why it is, i had the handset flashed a couple of weeks ago at a nokia service centre * +

Well durr. Flashing has obviously caused the changes. Go speak to the guy who flashed it. Lol. * +

Ive been back and flashing the handset could not have changed the imei-date when phone was made as flashing does not go into that part of phone, nokia doc said some 6230 were made like it and it wont cause the phone any problems and the imei of the handset has not been changed as doing star hash06 hash shows * +

Go at the official Nokia shop not at the local repair show. Without imei number your phone will be considered as fake or unregistered by your mobile service provider and may cause problems to you. *
