Please, why do some memory cards give fake memory size than the one written on them? For example, a memory card will have 128MB written on it, but when you insert it into a phone then it tells you its only 13MB. Please help on how to get that fixed... * +

may b there is some hidden file dat causing prblem...use mobyexplorer or pc to see if dre is any hidden file. Also a memory card shares some of its space wid fone..jus like a RAM do in pc...So if u got a 1gb card,den it ll not show u d full 1024mb space but rather show sum less(around 950-980mb) to d actual. * +

Use memory card reader and connect your card to pc. Format it using Fat option not fat32 . * +

@Torque - Actually i formatted the card too and its having no files - not even folders! @Sonicomb - Am not familiar with your process and that will be quite tough for me - any other way? * +

@MAMMUN77 - I surely did that, but it still gave a lower size than what was written on the card. * +
