I'm afraid, there is no such call recorder application available better than the default.... Coz no matter which application you use, the beep alert will exist... Its a security system for user privacy implemented by nokia so that someone cannot record his conversation without knowledge of the 2nd person... Though its really annoying but I think it is a very useful and important feature to alert you that the conversation is being recorded... * +

The beep is very disgusting when i try to record song or poetry or sth lyk that from anyone.. I have got a soft for this. But it was gone with my software update.. There are many recorder softs for S60. But alas!! ... no perfect recorder for s40! * +
