The one who will solve my problem ..Obviously i will call him a GENIUS ....Well i got nokia 3220 problem is my java applications like messengers opera etc dont get connect to internet ...My network needs proxy address and port number for successful connection but in d personal conf. Settings add newaccess point ...Inside it there is no place mentioned for proxy address or port number ...! * +

I av one solution myself but dont know how to do it ..Help..My idea is ..If i get settings of my network at d default place i can select it n activate it for all applications ...But problem is there r no settings listed for my network on nokia site which i can send myself ..Neither m able to get it from my network ..My network says their network settings sending software doesnt support this set * +

Anyone enough expert who can tell me what code message our network send which comes as settings msg to us so that i can edit it and write my network settings at d appropriate places nd then send that sms to myself * +

If u can't connect without PROXY that mean your network doesn't provide iGPRS. So forget that applications. Or may be after defining a new access point you haven't activated the accesspoint. Check that. And ask your service provider that if they provide GPRS or iGPRS.
