When i dial *harsh 92702689 harsh, on my NOKIA it display the Serial No, Manuf Date, purshing Date(edit) and the LIFE TIME per HRS. Now is it true that NOKIA s40 are set by the manufucturer to be used for a certain period as it's LifeSpan? (eg 100hrs, 150hrs etc) thanx * +

Nokia manufacturer make phone's so it can last long as long as possible. For eg if you bought a pair of socks you use it and after wear and tear it goes off it is similar . It is not set by them previously it depends upon wear and tear and who you used it... Lol dude got it

I think NOKIA 4ns are timed to stop functioning in a limited time, cose mine stopped and display the word LOCAL MODE. * +
