Hi i got an old 3100 and when theres a sim in it it still comes up with insert sim.ive tried the various codes and master reset but to no avail, anyone got any ideas or suggestions please? *

It happens when, 1) The SIM socket of the phone has partially damaged....or 2) The SIM is internally damaged.............. To check it, try inserting another SIM in that phone, and if it shows the same error, then it means the SIM socket is damaged..... U hav2 replace it with a new socket.... *
