it means the same thing. update upgrade etc. plug fone into pc via cable. Installed pc or ovi suite onto pc and click nokia software updater option and it'll check if any newer software versions exist for that fone. its quite old so dont get your hopes up. * +

about changing ur fonez model number is very easy. Take tipex and hide N76 and write N84 Voila! u have a new model. I have solved half ur problem. Say;Thank you * +
