Hi. I am using Nokia N8. Recently i am facing one issue. I have a some folder where i hve stored my some pics and some documents. My problem is that all the folder are converted in to the file name extension with .LNK For example folder name was Download now its converted in to Download.Lnk. due to this i can't open my document . Please help me out. How can i short out this issue.i want to kick my phone. * +

have you hooked up your fone to a pc recently ? sounds a little like a pc virus. have you tried renaming the the folder to its normal name with a file explorer like x-plore ? * +

right click over you memory card, goto properties and choose scan and fix, and tick scan for bad sectors box. this will fix any errors but you might lose that folder, might not. * +

It sort something ur mmc has a virus w/c is the command is to rename ur folders, scan and fix bad sectors of ur mmc might be can help but i suggest to format that one, but create a bckup of ur important files b4 formatting,then scan ur bckup files w/anykind of AV to make sure that it is free of malicious files. If im not mistaken that virus who rename files with .Lnk extension is a part of trojan * +

more importantly it means your pc is infected with a virus. cure that first or you'll soon be right back to square 1 again. * +
