The phone is Nokia E71-1 with RM-346 and 200.21:118 firmware. I have managed to get Open4all working but install server patch does not work!! Its the red X I get. I have tried DrWeb, Norton, Trend mobile and what have you, with different kinda install server packs. I know mine is OS9.2. So, any personal experience on the way out?? Just wanna install unsigned apps. PS I used Rompatcher plus 3.1 * +

try using an installserver.exe rather than the rompatcher .rmp and put it in c:/sys/bin. check the hack no pc topic first page for one (if links still working) * +

wats rompatcher.rmp? I've always used installserver.exe..... I tried diffrerent types from different tutorials put in c:/sys/bin but it doesnt work.... Its a pity I cant get a cert and key....... Am looking for someone with the phone and same firmware, I think there is a special case with this phone.... * +

you have rompatcher installed and open4all working so your fone is hacked. the question is which type of installserver are you using ? there are 2 types, one is a patch the same as open4all that put there by rompatcher and has a .rmp file extension, the other type is a .exe file. you use 1 or the other NOT both. the .exe 1 is moved to c:/sys/bin only and other is in the patchs folder and stays there. JUST USE ONE OF THESE METHODS ONLY. . . * +

or to put it another way deactivate the installserver patch in rompatcher reboot your fone and try to install an unsigned app. it shud work with no problem. * +
