is there an application to tell if an LCD in a N8 is genuine? I fitted one today and the packaging was a company called 'recover' and im not sure if the company is genuine replacement parts. The color black on the screen seems more like a grey and its not that nice to look at, ive adjusted the brightness.Just wondering if anyone saw a diagnostic app that could help me..Nice to be back in symbian forum :) * +

i think you know its not genuine. the 3rd party screens always look cr*p compared to an original. * +

i dont realy know why i asked cuz we all know lmao. I payed 35 for it and non genuine was 8 so wouldnt mind proving them wrong and getting the difference back from the lying b***h * +

order thru a Nokia service centre and an n95 screen is fifty quid so 35 sounds too good but that proves nothing without having some1 take the fone apart for you. * +

where are you guys going to for your parts 30 to 40 quid...... Go on hebay.co.uk, check the discription make sure it's genuine for an n95 screen i dont think so. * +

i've been told oh yeah its genuine wen its not, no surprise they want our money i guess. you could go back and blag it saying a guy at a Nokia care centre told you no it wasn't genuine (add nice detail like he laughed as he said so) and ask them for all your money back or you'll be contacting trading standards. you'll see in their eyes if they were lying. play your game not theirs dont listen to wat they say make them listen. now go, go get that money or be lazy and stay home like i would. * +

lmao thats wot im gona do, get my dollars. But wanted to kniw wot i was on about lol. If someone knew the packaging genuine comes or any markings ild have better chance. And i needed screen there n then else ild have done ebay * +
