A few things are.. Use a decent internet security suite, be careful about what you install and actually read the options when installing, defrag regularly or get an app that will do it automatically and get an app like Tune up utilities. There's loads more stuff too. * +

With a laptop, you should always make sure the vents are never covered and that air can flow freely though it. * +
