HD is hi def. meaning more pixels to make up an immage, meaning clearer images. hard drive is hdd. * +

yeah crisper image/ more detail but only when you use a 1080p signal, if you dont have bluray then you may aswell gone for a 720p tv as hidef tv is 720p they dont braudcast in 1080p. if you have a bluray then great, your gona see a whole lot more in yer bluray films, but dont expect upscaled films to look any better than on an ordinary tv, just bigger. infact they will often look slighly worse. * +
