i have a dvi output on my graphics card but my monitor only has a vga input, would i get dvi quality if i used a dvi lead with a vga adaptor to the monitor? my card is a radeon 850xt and my monitor is a 22 lcd * +

so is it worth me getin a normal vga lead or a dvi lead and vga connector??? or will the connector just cancel out the dvi signal and give me vga equivilant quality? * +

i have vga (RGP) cable between my lappy and 22inc monitor and the grapix are good it even gets 1900x1080 resolution * +
