Hi,am using lucid lynx,kinda new to ubuntu but loving every bit of it but uhmm..wanted your opinions on which are the best softwares to run with it. Is there a bitcomet and orbit downloader version for it? If not can someone please tell me if i could find open source alternatives for them..and does installing wine help with playing microsoft games on it??? Pardon my many questions..thanx in advan * +

I'm sure there is software out there, look in software centre under applications or google it. Wine is a bit hit and miss imo * +

bitcomet isnt recommended.if you want to run to run a windows torrent client use utorrent through wine.or install libtorrent with a front end like rutorrent.these 2 options are the most common amongst seedbox providers. As for a download manager, i suggest u search.google is your friend * +

get down tham all plugin for firefox,i asume if firefox works on linux so will the plugin,hopefully. and trust me,that is the best manager you can get,far better than orbit and some giant programs * +
