I am a pc user at my college. How do network admins see the websites use? Can they see my screen and can they see what i download or how much i download even though i'm super a download manager (orbit). All replies will be appreciated. The admin is a bit of a tool and blocks sites all the time. * +

If the computer is yours, the admin can only see the internet trafic. If its a public pc... Well he might have enabled remote desktop/team viewer/anything else to have you 'under a magnifying glass' :) * +

with good reason. the network has student records on there so cant afford to get an infection, thus the need to stop u from surfing. not only that but p*rn found on a collage pc can get funding stopped or worse the admins fired. * +

I just love the admin at my university's library. He's all cool and secure and stuff... And he also keeps some 'private' backups which are actually available to any user... And some of those backups contain his UNENCRYPTED password. Oh and he also doesn't delete his bash history (which has some even more interesting stuff) lulz * +
