I wanted to over clock my msi 9800gt 1gb gpu which is set to 550mhz (by default). So i read couple of forums abt over clocking n downloaded riva tuner n ATItool and instralled em to my machine. Then i oc my 9800gt to 565mhz n ran ATItool for stability test. It started snowfall in that 3d box. It was showing some pixel thing but No error for 30 mins. Is that normal or shud i set the default clock speed again ? * +

How much clock speed shud i except wit stock fan and stock psu which i assume is 450 watts ? * +

Ati catalyst control centre has and overdrive option it was automatically overclock ur card to safe levels better try that option first instead of rivatuner * +

well considering the 9800gt is an nvidia card the ati oc control is unlikley to work... * +

best look around and see what others have achieved with the card you have. btw 450 watts is the bare minimum you need for that card, if your gonna oc it you best invest in a 550-600watt psu. * +
