After years of fun internet chats and multimedia fun, I turn my pc on and nothing happens: no fan spin, no beep, nothing, but a pilot light on MB. Clean'd it up and no difference. I noticed some transistors were a bit swollen on MB so I bought a P4 processor and MB and connected my compatible RAM , HD, 3 different power supplies and what do I get? SAME DIFFERENCE. * +

Pilot light is on, no fan spin, no beep. I know power supply is ok. I know the second hand P4 processor and MB are okay. could it be ram? two 512 busted simultaneously? Could it be the cheap lightning surge protection plug? Please HELP! I'm getting the twitches from internet and information withdrawal. * +
