hey all, im running Vista office, nd my computer frequently freezes while im busy. It jst freezes nd the mouse nd keyboard dnt work, even if I try alt+ctrl+del, nd then i have to push the reset or shut down button. Wat may be the problem. Its doing this evrytim I start it, especialy when im using a program of some sort. Plz help * +

You cant say that without knowing the hard ware config. Vista running on underpowered system also can cause this problem. Or pw may be running apps which are heavy on resources. * +

I can tell you one of the causes of freezing computers, its CPU related. If your CPU is overload but thats not the only cause. It can also be your memory if you have too many programs running. Get into your task manager using ctrl-alt-del and end unnecessary programs and than see what happens after the load is taken off. * +

ending an applications does not always solve the problem, you may have to click the Processes tab and stop the programs runing in the background, I always keep my task manager open for future freezes. Hate Vista with my whole heart. * +
