Hi guys, Plse help me Im not that good about PCs but I got a strange problem with my computer; I can no longer use 'Windows Help Support'. In other words when I go to Start then Help and Support - I get a msg saying Internet Explorer cannot download /help. I haven't done anything like reloading Vista operating system yet. Its running Vista Pro. Thx for ur help. * +

i think help on vista and windows 7 is different to xp . so help files wont work or as you know wont download or be compatible * +

if you have old xp help files you can still use them but you need to instal this fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 * +

Goto control panelcomputer managementadministrative toolservices,this steps maybe difrnt in vista,just find services and applications,look for help and support and set it to automatic instead of manual or not started,this might help.Afta changing it restart and select help and support,it wil open if nt try windows update. *
