I had windows xp before i upgraded my pc 2 windows ultimate 7 all my document music videos are gone and when i go to my hdd my space shows that i have 100gb used bt on my pc my folders r empty i tried to restore my pc bt i dont get an option of setting it 2 da 1st of november like in my windows xp help what do i do? * +

an upgrade sometimes stores all old folders in a seperate place, try searching for a folder called 'windows old' * +

all you do now is move everything from there to where you want it, then delete that file to get your space back, but its a good thing to do to leave it where it is as a back up * +
