hi ive ran into a few issues with my vaio laptop, the charge port on the laptop has broken, anyway when i phoned sony customer service he asked for my S/N number and asked for my details and then the guy said that my laptop is registered under another name, so i phoned sony center in newcastle where i purchased it and he phoned them, anyway what i found suspicious is that it was registered under.. * +

another name, could i have been sold a second hand laptop, advertised as new? when i think back the box was open before i purchased it, there was a scratch on the lid and the charge port was a little loose but i just dismissed them all, i guess i was just too excited at getting my laptop to ignore them, anyway where do i go from here? i dont fancy paying over 1000 pounds on a laptop that was... * +

Speak to the manager at sony and say its 10000 pound i payed its alot of money i dont fancy paying another 10000 pound for another one keep going from there i always get what i want when i say that * +

I bought my vaio fz from Sony shop too, no issues but cr*p device when had a few issues, if were you mate take it n all reciepts n pop to trading standards and explain to them :) as it's obviously been bought n then returned * +

ok so i phoned trading standards up and they told me to try down the shop again, but i didnt have any joy from them, the lad was saying stuff like another person must have mixed their s/n number up with mine and that all new laptops have sealed boxes and when i said that mine wasnt sealed he didnt know what to say lol so something is going on, anyway i have now got to send them a letter with my... * +
