it is possible.i mean,every mobile that can run an app in the background,even if just j2me can do that.i dont know about spying on conversations but theoreticaly,you can code a mobile app that runs in background and takes all keyboard input like any game that is aware of keys you press. a keylogger that would record all key presses and assemble all messages you send and numbers you dial... * +

Thank you, i thought so. Hes no genuis jst an obsesive psycho ex bf trying to blackmail her to take him back. Its a samsung and relatively old +18months so its not a smartphone/andriod. * +
