hey guys!, i'm tired of Windows Security/malware problems, and i'm planning to opt for Linux as my OS but at the same time i've fallen in love with many windows softwares(including Games) which sadly can't run on Linux, so i surfed thru the net and came up with WINE, which is a sofware that allows one to run win softs on Linux, so what do u tech gurus think? can Wine run all win apps on Linux? and even if it can, will it be almost the same thing as running them on windows? * +

Won't be the same as in Windows, sometimes Wine starts to hang the applications that run on it. I hope it has been improved... * +

even d latest wine is a bug nest.. not all win apps wrk n bout games it comes wit directx but not all games wrk.. I tried it wit zuma 2 n it wrk perfectly in fullscreen.. but generally wine is selective.. my advice install ubuntu on windows n use both ov dem its cool.. * +

to access ur current drive from ubuntu.. open its root/parent directory of d ubuntu den open hosts u'll c all ur main drive c contents there * +

linux is actually for sever installations... install any window on another drive and enjoy benifits of both.. linux and window.. its better solution for you.. * +
