you can animate 2d even with something like gimp and plain windows movie maker and probably make it something professional.seamless3D helps with model animations,after that you can build a 3D gaming engine for the models or animate in a movie.blender could be a nice thing for something more complicated. no need to spend any money on expensive software,either you re an artist or not,with or without * +
