im looking to record live steams of video. no audio needed. whats the best pacage to convert them from flv to avi... i want something that can configured to give the output i require.not just same in same out with a different file extention. * +

You will need to find an app with advanced options then, to convert individual streams. I have looked in the past for the best video converter. In the end I did find something good, although fairly complicated, but I can't remember what it was called. I googled trying to find out what the 'scene' and p2p groups use for ripping, and that's how I found the software. * +
