My mouse wont work at all. A few months ago it began freezing, then working, then freezing, etc. (just the mouse, everything else works) I would also get a pop up message saying, A usb device attached to your computer has malfunctioned and windows doesnt recognise it ... * +

plz try a usb mouse (ask your friend to let U check it). in general i'v noted such problem is due to broken cable/usb-connector * +

sounds like a fault at the driver end, if you still have the software that came with the mouse (if any) I suggest you run that and try from there. if you have no disc the only thing you can do is check via system management menu...you dont need a mouse, you can access it via keyboard shortcuts. * +

ive tried this mouse on a different pc, and it still wont work. Now you would obviously say theres something wrong with the mouse but i dont think so. I didnt say this before but this is the 2nd mouse thats gone bug*ered. Its like its picking up some kind of virus. Is that even possible? * +

no.... mice are only cheep bits of hardware they never last long unless you have a good quality one, power surges in the usb supply is usualy the cause of failure *
