ok, if its brand new n got bad sectors, go back to where you got it... Could be a dodgy drive... Rather sort it now than risk losing everything if the drive crashes... Has it got a warranty? * +

take it back to the store you bought it from if possibe.Otherwise look for software called hard disk low-level format.it corrects corrupt sectors * +
