typical smart TV can just be connected to your home network and yes, web browsing directly on them This depends on model though, often they have apps or integrated popular sites, the higher end stuff can have full featured browsers although the quality of the browser can be questionable * +

the reason why current 3d tvs are coming down so much in price isnt just cos they have now been out for a while. its because future 3d tvs will not require 3d glasses in order to view 3d conent. * +
