Hey Guyz..,My VLC Player is playing videos w'out da correct colour of elements in the imagea.Red is appearing blue as an example..other colours are not correct as well..how do I fix this?Other players are playing with correct colours..I have un-installed re-installed it bt its nt working a dime... * +

Since this is an older post, were you perhaps watching a 10-bit h.264 video with VLC 1.1.11 which did not support it? * +

Obligatory VLC bashing post: Holy **** it took forever for them to release a stable one with support and actual security patches for several critical holes leaving the average users in the quicksand while nightly users were enjoying all the versions in between 1.2 and 2.0... Okay so MPC-HC took a while to update their stable too, however that's normal for them and MPC-HC nightly is often recommended anyway once the stable one has become older than a few months or lacks new features. * +

Use MPC, u can install it with K-Lite i find its the best Media Player * +

GMP is my choice for videos... KMP is poor at rendering where GOM has the same rendering quality as VLC... You can easily compare the sharpness of HD videos with KMP vs GOM/VLC... I dont like VLC because of its instability even with its latest version and lacks some key features... GOM is simple, perfect and has everything needed.... * +
