i get this message everytime i play a game,i checked my driver version and its 285.62.can anyone please help me,im out of ideas to fix this,it happens like every 2-5 minutes,tiny blocks on screen then a black screen and then back to the game * +

Download the new Nvidia driver that was released today. Completely uninstall anything to do with nvidia from your computer, reboot, install the new driver you downloaded. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx * +

thanks newt,i downloaded 5 driver versions already and this problem persists,hope this new one works cause my patience and data plan is getting thin * +

that 295 version does'nt fix the problem either,please guys,any ideas how to fix this error...driver stop responding and has successfully recovered...i tick custom install and clean install * +

Have u tried installing in Safe Mode, if that don't work i'd prob use the recovery disc u got with the Pc or Laptop, i'd just re install everything the whole os as its sometimes the best way, comp runs like new, in fact i reinstall os like every 3 to 4 months n do a complete driver update * +

I use to get that message with my AMD Card n it was coz it was getting 2 hot during Games * +

U could also try going into nVidia control panel, 3D setting, global settings, power management mode n switch to Prefer Maximum Performance as the default should be Adaptive, this solved the issue on my laptop with nVidia gt330m playing Crysis 2 * +

ive had the display driver not responding a couple of times in few months but it doesnt disturb me it recovers fast. * +
