Howzit guys,i have a htc win mobile 6.5,the background pics are in .dat. format,eg..qa_fundotelo.dat... so to change the background image i need to convert images into a .dat.how do i go about this, its for sbp mobile shell.your replies are appreciated. *

Have you tried renaming them from .jpg to .dat? *

Control panel, folder options, view, untick 'Hide extensions for known file types'. Then rename the file type *
