Is there a way of finding out which programs are updating in the backround while i am online cause it took me less than 20 min to finish 160mb of data while i was jus navigating in 1 site. And i also turned of my windows updates pls help guys * +

process monitor will give you the process name,the connection protocol,ip,ports... in filter,under event class,select network and add the rule. then block unwanted connections with firewall or delete the programs making them. you can cripple network settings system wide and grant access only to applications you trust,individualy. * +

maybe any malware eg. stdrt.exe check from task manager process. this stdrt.exe from some games repack by blackbox. or maybe any other malware * +

it will suck ram cpu and internet bandwith. just end process every start windows or reinstall windows *
