all extensions pointing to it. this could be done painlessly through a batch with a couple of reg add and reg deletes. type reg /? in command prompt for more info. in the end,you can have a batch file that will group your audio,video,image,archives.. etc to single registry keys and should your extensions get somehow modified,rebuild them all with a single click. ask if you need more help : ) * +

That could be a good idea to avoid the hassle of changing each extension's context menu item one by one... I'll try your method to merge the context menu of some identical audio, video and image files.... Will get back to that after I finish... *
