Hi,when i copying my data file one partition to another one they are moving to slow why the process take too much time. For example, Amount of data 1GB. And it's takes 20 to 25 minutes. Is this any hard disk problem or Ram?Processor: 3.2mhzRam: 1GbHD: 120GBSYSTEM TYPE, DELL GX270 * +

Its not your processor or ram problem.... First defragment all your partitions, then check your hard disk for bad sectors and repair if any.... If no improvements, use process explorer to findout if there's any background process running with high CPU usage all the time.... * +

First thanx 2u. No extra process were seen usually the system files... Chkdsk and defrag was performed. But still it's same. * +

in device manager tree,expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers,check the properties of each entry and on advanced tab,make sure transfer modes are set to DMA if available * +

No, it's new sata hdd.. At least one year old. I try to Another hard disk. It's work fine into my pc.. Any differance made like enable or disable cache to hard disk performance. * +
