could be you either need a new power supply (assuming its not working at all) or the power input needs replacing * +

Got a toshiba myself. When the battery's utterly depleted that happens. Remove the battery and plug in. Good luck. * +

@Dante333, i tried 2 do so but it didn't work. I've also tried to power it on with an extra adaptor(hv the same pins) bt the problem still exist. I remove the battery and power it on directly, it failed. Man what cn i do?. * +

Next thing I'd try to do is remove the cmos battery, wait a while till any latent powers been discharged, put the battery in again and power the laptop on. Don't do this if you aren't confident and comfortable with opening your laptop. * +

You need to isolate the problem though. If you could get a charger from a friend and try it, that would take the charger out of the equation. Have you made any recent hardware changes? * +
