well ive got the dell now and it seems great. I know some members told me to avoid dell and packard bell but lets face it whatever make you buy there is allways at least one person who will say its cr*p so I ignored that. * +

You don't HAVE to get HD content via a disk drive ;) You said that you NEED these things: ''nice grahics card and a hd monitor and a blueray drive'' for a PC to be HD ''compatible''. * +

iam upgrading the graphics card to a sapphire radeon HD6850 which has had a lot of praise with many tech sites I have visited. the dell xps 710 has a 750 watt power supply which is man enough to run this new card and Iam happy to report everything is tickety boo! (the 6850 I got is the 2gb version) * +

I watch blue ray films on my tv and cant think why anyone would want to watch them on a computer because of the small screen,, unless they dont have a fairly large Tv.only reason I would want blue ray on a computer is if I was backing up discs. *
