a typical 22-23 inch 1920/1080 screen has 96 pixels per inch but what you need to know is the pixel pitch of your monitor. as a 2550/1200 23 inch monitor has 120 pixels or so per inch... so you need to devide your screen rez by the inch size of the monitor which is normaly measured diagonaly corner to corner... * +

also you always round up so is your screen is 23.4 inches you devide by 24... *
