Subject: problem with pc boot up

Doh, I don't know why but I was thinking it was a laptop. Take everything out that isn't necessary for it to boot. Leave the 1 HDD connected, take out 1 RAM module (try each one on its own). Take out any cards or any other devices that aren't needed. And then see if the problem is still there. Also clear the CMOS and reset the BIOS to default settings. *
