howzit guys, what is the max amount of data that you can store on a hdd,i mean if you have a ..500gig with 465gig usable,is it save to store 464gig of data on the disk,or should you always leave some headroom,....is there any dangers involved in storing to capacity? *

external drive probability not, but an internal drive with windows stored on it its best to leave some space as windows its self is constantly writing its own data to the drive, ie restore points, background data, internet browser data, anti-virus program updates etc etc. with no where for windows to write to it will lead to a system crash *
